Well these past two days have been touch and go. I unfortunately spent Tuesday sleeping on the couch watching Aussie TV. Not very eventful but it helped me to get over my terrible sinus infection and cold. So that was good.
Wednesday! I finally got to go back to work after feeling really crap. That was good news for me, as I was really tired of spending my days alone and miserable. It is not the best feeling to be sick a million miles from your own bed. Ya and foreign medicine is different. Anways back to working at 33. I had tons of projects to complete today! I worked really really hard and had to come home to relax. Sorry nothing too exciting.

Medical Mishaps Day 26
Well its official. I am ill.
So I went to the doctor at 2:30. All I know is when you go from a country that has private health care and state of the art equipment you tend to take things for granted. The medical center was nice and all but the machinery and tools were very outdated. But at least he diagnosed what was wrong with me. Sinus Infection and mild cold. Yea fun!!
So I am taking it easy until Wednesday when I can feel better.
I am just going to rest and get well.

Scuba Sydney Day 25
Sunday is the day to Scuba Dive. Jessica and I were in for the time of our lives.
We headed out to Manly Beach a short 30 minute fairy ride from Circular Quay. It was a nice ride but we had to be there really early in the morning. I started to come down with a cold...stuff nose and stuff so I was worried I wouldnt be able to do it but we still went.
We got to the dive center and got all of our equipment together and drove to the beach. We scuba dived off of Shelley Beach, which is the only northern facing beach in Sydney and it helps to protect from large waves and wind.
We took a brief intro course from Peter our instructor and put on the million pound equipment and walked out to the beach.
It was scary for me at first to go all the way under and breathe. It is a completely different experience. But Peter helped me to get used to it and in no time I was swimming like a pro and we were checking out pink coral and saw a school of blue groupers. I was also lucky enough to spot a leopard fish! It was beautiful and pretty cool being under the water. We also learned several dive skills to help us underwater.
We got out of the water and took a little break from it all and got something to drink. I started to feel sicker during this time as I was shivering, my nose was running and I had a hard time breathing so I had to sit out for the second dive for safety reasons.
There is always next time and it is better to be safe than have my lungs pop....ya know.
Anways Peter and the dive team were really nice and I would recommend Pro Dive Manly to anyone for whale watching or diving. Great group!
I loved my day but went to bed early!! I am trying to beat this cold and I may have to explore the medical system tommorow.

JULY 4th Day 24
Saturday July 4th came in with nothing too exciting. Jessica, a girl I work with and I had a great day of shopping in the Bondi Junction mall. We hit up all the end of the year sales and I even found my sister's boots that I had been dying to get here. I hope she liked them.
We also ate at the food court and I of course had to have some McD's, it being July4th and all had to have something American afterall!
Jess and I then headed out to Bondi beach where there was supposed to be a party but that was a no go..so we went out for dinner instead. Pizza from this great Pizza place, Wilsons.
Tonight was another story. The gang all headed out to Scubar where there was an awesome American party being held. The DJ played all American music and it was so much fun to dance and party! We even chanted USA after a few songs! There were lots of Americans there so that made it worth while as well! Good times Good times!! There was even some new people we met that were from the US...we stayed out until 3am...crazy days!

Friday DAY 23
Hello!
Friday was a day filled with light work but good times on the job interning and learning new things. I really have enjoyed writing articles and contributing to the work done at 33.
Tonight we headed out to Darling Harbour for dinner and at at the Blue Fish..but I ate great chicken. Then the group and I headed out for a short night out on the town. Lots of fun but we were home pretty early. Tommorow is July 4th!! So it should prove to be interesting being 12,000 miles away from the US

Work Day, Dinner and Drinks, TEXAS HOLD EM! Day 22
I am loving life in Australia!!! I think everything is wonderful here. I even have a morning routine. I take the morning 8:40 train to work and get off 2 stops from Bondi Junction, where I live. I then pick up a croissant and my morning coffee- hazelnut mocha from Steve, the owner of Detour this adorable little coffee shop downstairs from work. Steve and his workers are so nice, they ever remembered my name and my drink is ready for me. Great Aussies!
Today was a great day at 33. Howard told me he was really impressed with my work and asked if I could help the company pitch to a few clients! I think this is the biggest compliment I have had in a long time. Ad Campaigns class really has paid off.
Tonight the gang headed out for dinner at this cute hotel that had a balcony. The food and friends were amazing! I had such a great time at dinner with everyone and I even had a real steak.
Jenine invited me to buy into a game of Texas Hold Em the hotel hosts. So I havent played in a long time...you could tell but I really should have won. I ended up loosing and I had a FULL HOUSE! Not fair.... anyways I had a blast in the city tonight. I met some really great people and enjoyed great conversations. I am so tired but ready for an amazing weekend with Jessica, a fellow American to celebrate July 4th!

Days 20 and 21 Some fun!
Hello to another great day in Sydney Australia.
Tuesday was a bit of a slow day. I did alot of work for the company and got to do some more article writing, blogging and copy editing. My job is so amazing and the people I work with are so very nice.
Tuesday was a day just to hang out again. We just rented a movie and stayed in not to much to talk about.
Wednesday was another story. This had to be the craziest and busiest day at work. I did so much and made tons of phone calls and weazled information out of people. I decided it was the American accent, they feel for me I am sure. LoL.
Tonight the gang and I went on the town. We were looking for trivia night what we found was an Irish pub full of cross dressers hosting a Kareoke Night! I ended up singing and having a blast. There were some pretty fun stories from this night which involved craayyyyzzzzzzzzzzzyyyyyy people. I really had a blast hanging out a seeing the nightlife of Sydney. This place has so much to offer! It is such a blast here.
Can't wait for the weekend!!
